Burrata's Story
				Burrata Woodfired fired up its ovens for the first time in January 2024, right here in the heart of Mount Vernon, Ohio-and the town's taste buds haven't been the same since.
We believe in doing things the right way: with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, plenty of creativity, and a touch of flame-kissed magic. Our menu is built around bold flavors, homemade sauces and dressings, and a rotating lineup of craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails that make "just one more" sound like a great idea.
But the real story starts behind the bar.
Meet Erica.
Once upon a happy hour, she was hired by the previous restaurant owner as a bartender. Between slinging cocktails and swapping stories, she fell in love-with the people, the energy, and the art of great hospitality. A few years (and countless drink specials) later, Erica traded her bar keys for ownership papers, turning her passion into Burrata Woodfired.
Now it's truly a family-run labor of love. Her teenage boys work here too-because apparently "unlimited pizza" counts as a solid paycheck-and together they bring the same warmth and energy to every table.
At Burrata, we're all about good food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality-served with a wink and a woodfired edge.
